ISTE 2012

At the moment one of the most watched hashtags for me is #ISTE12. Just a minute ago @tasteach tweeted about how wonderful it was to meet so many people she has only known via twitter. I can totally understand her excitement as it is a place where those who have been very powerful in supporting my learning connected to the use of ICT in the classroom are currently gathering – my PLN (Professional Learning Network). To get an overview of her day please feel free to visit http://studentchallenge.edublogs.org/2012/06/24/day-1-at-iste2012/ @tasteach also known as Sue Wyatt she has supported incredible learning in many classrooms with her student challenge blog.

Just a few other people who are there sharing formally or informally include:

@BronST, also know as Bron Stuckey who has had an incredible impact on my learning and teaching through Quest Atlantis and her support with our Minecraft class at school

@edusum, also known as Summer Howarth who has supported students in having a powerful voice regarding bullying @heart_project and http://invisibleheartsproject.weebly.com/

@coolcatteacher, also known as Vicki Davis http://coolcatteacher.blogspot.com.au/

@tomwhitby http://tomwhitby.wordpress.com/ a great mind, his blog is worth the read

@flourishingkids, alos known as Joan Young http://www.allkidscanflourish.blogspot.com.au/

@suewaters http://theedublogger.com/

Of course this is only a small list of the many that are there and participating in the hashtag #iste12. For further information about ISTE it is worth going to:
